Introduction
Basically, 90% of everything I could do in Windows I can do in Linux. In return, I get a very fast, stable system that is far more resistant to worms, viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, and crack attempts. I also get a more sophisticated and powerful user interface and computing experience that allows me to accomplish whatever I want.
Ubuntu linux distribution feels like a good place to begin.
